What an amazingly cute girl:)

Maybe I'm just a little biased, but our little girl is so beautiful. When she smiles it is absolutely amazing. Here she was talking with Andreja. As you can see she loves looking at and talking with her Momma.

Emma Watching Her Mobile

Emma just loves to lay in her crib and watch the animals on her mobile go around. It is so funny to watch how excited she gets.

Lack of posts.

We have been a little lazy the last couple weeks with posting to the blog. For those who check regularly I apologize. We'll try to pick it up.

Go Dawgs!!!

Emma is proud to be a little Bulldog. She was quite disappointed at the South Carolina loss, but is confidant that we can rebound against the Crimson Tide. Her analysis is that after an emotional win over Arkansas, Alabama will be unprepared for the underachieving Bulldogs. The result: UGA 24 UA 17. At least those are some of Emma's thought's in analyzing the upcoming weekend.

Emma with her Great Aunt Patti

Also last week Emma's great aunt Patti came for a visit from Rhode Island. Patti was very excited to hold Emma. Emma looks pretty comfortable.

Emma with her Aunts

This last week both my sister Faith and sister Ruth came to Atlanta to meet Emma for the first time. It's was fun to see them and I know they had a great time hanging out with Emma. Apparently, she is much cuter in person, at least according to my sisters.

UGA 35 Okla St. 14

Yesterday we enjoyed a convincing victory by the Bulldogs over the over hyped offense of Oklahoma State. If the game last night was any indication of what lies ahead, then it's going to be a fun season. I think we may even beat Kentucky and Vandy!!:) Maybe even give the vaunted Gators a run for their money.

Emma enjoyed her first game. She was cheering hard!!!

Back to Work/ Nazad na poslu

So lot of you have been asking me how is it to be back at work so i guess i should just write so then everyone interested can just read:) But seriously. I can not believe how time flies when i realize that i have been back at work for 3 weeks now already. Emma is almost 10 weeks old! I had an easy start as i started back at work on wednesday with the friday off so i had 2 days off, 2 days at work and then a 3 day weekend. So it was a slow start back. The first week at work was not too bad. I had things to do which was good and made the day go by faster, but then things started piling up and i got more and more projects, and important projects and projects with due date. Being busy at work made it for a shorter days but also more stressful and i would find myself so tired by friday. But i guess most people are tired by friday as weel so it is good to have the weekend. I love working but i have to admit that it is harder now when i have Emma. I think of her the whole day and call mom often to see what are the two of them doing. It is such a blessing to have mom here. I know Emma gets the best care and sooooo much love. Mom often says she is so cute i just want to eat her for dessert. I agree:):) They go for walks in the morning after emma eats, and afternoons they spend in the house since it is so hot outside and eat, talk on the bed, sleep, change diapers...I have enjoyed watching my mom interact with emma in the last 3 weeks. Mom is just amazing and i admire that women for so many things. Emma is a lucky kid to have her. It would be very hard to go back to work if mom did not offer to come and stay with emma. I see it as a great sacrifice (since she left my dad, sister and her other granddaughter, friends, everything she knows and understands) on her part, but mom gets mad when i say word sacrifice as she is so happy to be here to be with her grandaughter. It has been a huge blessing to have her here in so many ways and i am so thankful.
People have been curious about if i am pumping or if i switched to formula. Wow, it would be so nice and easy to just switch. But for now i am sticking to breast feeding so i am pumping 3 times a day at work. There is one room that they assigned to me and my friend Anna (she has a boy that is 12 weeks)where we can pump. It takes me about 20 minutes each time i do it so that ends up being an hour in my day. So far i was able to work while i am pumping (i have full gear so i can pump and have hands free)so my days are not too long. I still go home by 4.30 so i have plenty of time to hang out with emma.
People have also been asking me if mom cooks for us. Well, how about mom cooks, cleans, fold laundry, keeps emma...I mean is ti full service:) Mom is so helpful and i see now how much i missed her the first few weeks after emma was born and chris and i were so tired and busy with the new baby and did not have time to do much.
So in summary, it have been 3 hard but good weeks. I am doing fine with being back at work. It is challenging sometimes but what isn't in life. I definitely enjoy my evenings when i come home and the weekends. So sorry if i do not visit with some of you as much as i used to ( or invite you over:)) as i just selfishly am enjoying that free time i have with my beautiful Emma and Chris as a family. Life is great then!

Obozavam taj dio dana kad dodem doma a emmica cim me ugleda mi se jako nasmijesi.
Puno me ljudi isto piota dal nam mama kuha.
