This past week I went back to work and Andreja was home alone with Emma. Andreja was scared about what it would be like to not have me around to help out, give moral support and good company. But, Andreja was blessed with someone everyday who came to visit, keep her company and help a little bit with Emma. Thursday and Friday were much better than the beginning of the week as Andreja became more accustomed to being home alone with Emma. On Thursday, Andreja, Emma and Laura (who was visiting) went for a walk around the neighborhood. It was Emma's first trip in the stroller!!!
It's funny how our lives have become all about diapers, poops, feeding, and sleeping. We have to schedule everything in between when Emma eats, which is about every three hours.
Yesterday, we went to visit Laura (who walked with Andreja and Emma on Thursday), her husband Josh and their new baby boy Elliot (who was born yesterday morning). They were at Kennestone Hospital, which is about 30 minutes drive from our house. After Emma ate, we had to quickly leave, hang out at the hospital for 30 minutes, and then head home so Emma could eat again. It was a prime example of how Emma is shaping our lives and schedules:)
