Real Snow this time!

In February we actually got somereal snow. And we got a lot of it.It even stayed for 2 days and we couldplay in it. Make snow balls and snowman. Emma had a blast. Her aunts were in town from washington so she could even enjoy the snow with them. Chris of course had the most fun from all.Norica unfortunately did not experience this fully since she was sick with her 2nd (or maybe 3rd even) ear infection in a row. Poor little girl. But oh well, she did watch it from the inside of the house. Luckily she doesn't know what she was missing out on.Snow in Atlanta-rarity:)
Enjoy the pics.

Happy 7th Anniversary!

Today Chris and I celebrate our 7th wedding anniversary (at least when it come to our 2nd marriage:)). I can't believe it has already been 7 years. Sometimes it feels like time has flown by but then sometimes if feels like we have been together forever. I certainly do not remember the time when we were not together. Lots has happened in the last 7 years. This weekend we went out to celebrate and reflected on all that has happened. How we started. Where we are now. Lots of moves in the first few years, then 4 year ago we bought our first house, Chris finished law school and we have 2 beautiful girls. Just to name some of the highlights. Even after 7 years we are into each other (despite the 7 year itch:)) and the more i get to know Chris the more i love him. God has truly blessed us and we hope he continues to bless us in the next 7 years.

Taking the bath together!

Emma and Nora started taking baths together a couple of weeks ago. Now that Nora can sit and they go to bed at the same time, it was the perfect time for joint baths:) Emma was soooooo excited at the beginning to share a bath with Nora. She just wanted to show her everything. However, after a few times her excitment about it disappeared. She doesn't want Nora to touch her bath toys and says Nora splashes water too much. It is hilarious! They still take baths together though!!!!! And it is time for me to buy Nora some of her own bath toys!

Emma Singing to Nora

Emma loves to sing to Nora. Here she is singing Zvoncici (Jingle Bells). She is very enthusiastic with the "hey." Towards the end she notices that the outdoor christmas lights (lampice) have come on. It amazes her every time when they come on (I have them on a timer), especially when we leave the house only to return with the lights glowing in the night.

Halloween

For Halloween we went to the annual (our 3rd) Halloween party at the Pickren's cul-de-sac. It is always a fun time as there is over 20 kids and their folks there. This year was very cold and wet because it has been raining the whole day. Inspite of the weather kids had a great time. You could not even see their costumes from the winter jackets they had to put on in order not to freeze, but they had fun. Emma did really well with walking the hills of the Georgetown neighborhood and trick or treat-ing. She was amazed at everyone giving her candy. She did not even eat that much of it but she crashed as soon as we came home. It was just so much fun for us to observe Emma as she learns and is amazed at all this new stuff she is experiencing. Nora was out at the party but when trick or treat started she and baka duka went inside the warm Pickren home.
